Air con compressor relay
 

Would like to check if A/C compressor relay is good - and blow me cannot find any info to tell me which relay it is anywhere.
Been thru loads of posts on here but nothing - best lead was a link from a post here to Matthewsolvosite but all it said was "data removed at request of Volvo" ! - so please does someone have a schematic or similar to identify the relays in eng compartment (my owners handbook does not list relays and Haynes doesn't list a bloody compressor relay !)

it's a 52 plate D5
the link doesn't seem to have this one in the list - have looked at the options and the nearest seems to be the 2003 supplement but the relay doesn't appear to be listed.

The problem is air con not working and I want to go thru the usual elimination process.
The LP schrader was leaking and I replaced it last autumn and got a proper regas. It worked ok but has now stopped again. When I press down momentarily on the LP schrader it sounds like there is plenty of pressure still in there.
Clutch gap is slightly high but not by much.

How about voltage testing the plug on the compressor as it will tell you in which direction your problem lies.
If there's voltage there but the clutch isn't engaging, the problem is the solenoid or clutch gap.

Thank you guys for your help – the model is SE.
However I think I need to buy a one way ticket to Numptyville……. as it turned out the relays are shown on a schematic stuck to the inside of the fuse box !!
I didn’t see it the diagram despite removing the lid several times – it confirms what Bob kindly sent – i.e. that FM1 is the AC relay.
When switching the air con on and off there was no clicking from the relay but when I moved the relay from position FM1 to FM2 (horn) the horn worked fine – so I’m currently assuming the signal to the relay is likely inhibited by a low pressure signal from the pressure sensor in the system. This confuses me a bit as I would have expected if there was a leak the system would have leaked all or most of the way down – cos when I pushed the schrader down it sounded like it was more than a low pressure still in the system.
I wanted to follow the suggestion from Cheshire & check if the compressor is seeing 12v but wasn’t sure where to check when I looked – the only wire I could see going to the compressor is the black one shown in the photo – so I assume I need to break into this wire at the white plastic junction & check for 12V between this wire and earth ?
Once again thanks for the help and next time I’ll try not to forget to check the bleedin’ obvious !

Gents - I tried to split the white plastic connector (per photo in previous post) and it was a total sod - the plastic ears don't retract far enough to allow it to disengage and the access from above is a pig - so I gave up before damaging it and thought it best to post on here & check if it's the right connector.
So can anyone confirm this is the right one to split so I can check for voltage to the air con compressor ?

Yes you've definitely got the correct plug.
Disconnect with engine off then turn engine on and both cabin temp dials to minimum, make sure ac button is on then voltage test the plug.

As an alternative and because you're confident of sufficient gas, if you have Vida or anyone close does, you can remotely activate the relay and check the ac pressure or rather what the system thinks is the pressure...... A duff sensor may give an incorrect reading so even if pressure is actually ok, the sensor isn't recognising it and the ECU/CEM won't allow the relay to be tripped.
