Running on Petrol

I'm aware that every so often you have to switch the gas off and give the car a run round on petrol to get rid of any deposits from running on gas. What's the recommended time scale to do this?

? LPG doesnt leave any deposits ... If you dip your oil you will find it is still clean if you run on LPG most of the time .

Worth giving it a blast every month or so to clear out the petrol injectors. You can use petrol treatment to help keep the petrol injectors clear.

This was advise given when I bought the car. I've done 50 miles on petrol today but just before Mot I do tank it up and run some cleaner through it. They told me that carbon builds up on the back of the exhaust valves. I took it as gospel. Cheers for that chaps

No LPG burns totally clean. The only reason to run on petrol is to clear the petrol injectors.

The engine always starts on petrol anyway so that should take care of things like that , I wouldnt worry about it just drive it on LPG as often as you can ..
