940 Estate
 

Still looking for a 940, I keep missing out! Where is best to look?

There's a red 2.3 lpt auto on ebay in Cannock. I'd quite fancy it but it's too far away from me.

Thanks yes I have seen that one, interior looks a bit messy on that one, I missed out on a blue one down south today. If you don’t see the good ones instantly they are gone. I’m looking at ones up to £1000, but ideally want to pay closer to £600 unless it’s amazing lol. I have missed out on 4 in the last couple of months that have all only been on hours and have gone. So if anyone knows of one for sale or has one, let me know. Thanks

That was a lot for that in the condition it was in!

We have a purple 940 M reg turbo estate which has been lovingly maintained, was my father's, and sadly he died a few years ago, but I have been running it and keeping it in the family for sentimental reasons. Mileage is 200-250k ish, I think, I would need to check, but many 940s do a lot more than that I am told

The head gasket just blew the day before its scheduled MOT, and it isnt something I can justify the cost of repairing for sentimental reasons, plus its one car too many for me really

I would love someone to buy it who will do it up and love it. It has been running well, and it its body work is in good condition as quite a few panels were repainted at the cost of someone else when they scraped down the side - it was cosmetic damage but annoying, and it looks lovely now it has been repaired

I had the car recovered to the garage I was due to have it MOT'd, and it is there off road at the moment. For someone who doesnt want to do the repairs themselves but pay a garage to do it, this represents an opportunity, but I guess many here would want to do it themselves.

It has 4 good wheels and tyres so it will be easy to tow somewhere else for someone who wishes

Still looking for a nice 940, must be a 2.3 turbo, don’t mind manual or auto, don’t mind estate or saloon, in good condition. Can’t find anything without it being £3000!!!

There is one on auto trader for £995.
There has been a couple of nice ones end on ebay of late for around £1700. Currently on ebay a nice looking straight estate starting at £500.
Nothing ever pops up locally for sale. I travelled well over 400 miles and many hours to buy mine.
