After the long wait my S90 T8 has arrived at the dealer and I am collecting it on Friday!

I'm like a child waiting for Christmas, only 4 sleeps to go!

If you haven't already, I suggest you go here and start brushing up on things. It'll take you 4 days (or more :))

Was before as it would have been built late October

Sorry, I don't know but suspect any changes will be minor. It could be something like a change to the Sensus interface or default options.

Please post some photos when you get some!

Visited the dealer today to get confirmation of my old cars valuation.

Really like the colour of my new one.

What's the problem with uploading photos? A common one is that a file is too big; max jpg size is 390.6KB.

SO after ordering in May I will be collecting my new S90 T8 from the dealer tomorrow.

Have read a lot of information in the forums and have a couple of questions, would be grateful if someone could shed light.

Do I need a sim card specifically for the car or will I be okay tethering from my iPhone?

In order for Apple Carplay to work I need to not link my phone to the car via Bluetooth at all?

Guessing I can probably answer these questions tomorrow but as the heading says: Excited!!!

Basic online functions such as VoC use an in-built 'hidden' SIM so you don't need to do anything for that. However, if you wish to use the apps in Sensus (Spotify, Google, weather, etc) you can either tether your phone or fit a SIM card of your own. Note that if you use your own SIM all data including VoC is routed through it. (But it doesn't physically replace the in-built one.)
