Turbo boost code
 

Hey, lately my v50 2005 2.0d has been driving quite not the same. It seems to lack power, especially low rews. And when rews past around 3000, it shows engine service required. Stop and start, and the error is away. The code reader showed boost control (too much pressure) With what should I start? Turbo actuator? Turbo valve control?

It'll be the turbo control value, or whatever the solenoid/valve that controls the boost pressure on the 2.0D model is called :)

Today checked intercooler pipes, seems ok. Give test drive. Acceleration seems bit chunky. Driving in 3rd trying to redline it, it gets around 3k revs or over and after few seconds feels like shuts off. Got check engine light. Stop and start the car and again the same. What could be problem. No dpf, no egr.

As told it could be vacuum boost preasure solenoid. Or turbo preasure control valve actuator.
By the looks on my car, they both look exactly the same, like in picture below.

Also could someone told difference between those two (solenoid and actuator) and how to check if they are working?

Changed vacuum boost preasure solenoid. Feels like car has better acceleration but problem stays the same. When driving, for example in 2nd gear and trying to redline it, it goes around 4K rews and like cuts off. In 3rd gear this happens around 3k..but if I keep throttle pedal to floor it cuts out but after few seconds cuts back and keeps going.
Also it shows engine needs service.
Anyone can help?
