Couple of cheap accessories.

Hi just installed a couple of cheap accessories and thought some folk may wish to do same. First one was the sat nav with reverse camera. I hard wired it and hid the wiring to the rear camera in the roof lining.
Next up was the dab adapter. Had to get an extension lead and a roof magnetic aerial as the screen one didn't work. Routed the cables through the vent to try for as neat as installation as possible. And lastly just felt the r design badge looked right on the aluminium 😊 All cheap and cheerful from amazon and I think about £80 all in. Cheers Jed |
Can you share a link for the R Speed trim? Thanks

DAB adaptor looks neat. Its prompted me to order one so I can ditch the commies on Radio 4 and get some Planet Rock back in the car.

Yeah it was a fiddle pulling the aux socket out as no room to shut the console lid. Absolute 80s for me

Does yours work ok? I'm thinking of concealing the whole unit in either in the glovebox or drinks holder, just keep it out of sight.

It works fine but you need the roof aerial. I have a poor signal where I live and only get one bar but it's still great.

I'm in a reasonable signal area. I've a DAB adaptor in my Smart car and that works just dandy.

Fitted my Nextbase DAB adaptor today. I fitted the antenna in its final position, but not yet decided in where to mount the unit so blu tac'd in position until I can attend to it at the weekend. Running it through the Aux in and it works most excellently.

Not an XC90, but for my S60 got these nice cargo nets - I believe these are genuine options from Volvo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w3xX80s23Y
