USB media - playlist format?
 

Hi dear Volvo'ers

Did someone manage to create a playlist for the USB device, like a thumbdrive?
I don't know what the root path should be.

m3u file in the same folder the music files are in. If you have kids of files/folders/playlists then it can take a minute or so for the playlists to appear on sensus.

well, it doesn't work for me. I can browse Albums, Artis, Genres etc but I cannot browse playlists...

Do playlists even appear in the top menu? You may need to wait a few mins while Sensus indexes the USB drive and loads the playlists.

sadly not.

I used this on my USB drive that had a nicely organised folder structure per album/playlist:

As mentioned it takes a minute or two to index and the playlist option to appear.

But it’s been OK for me but I agree it’s a ball ache.

should I expect new top-level "Playlists" menu, as I have with Albums, Artists etc?

Yes, I struggled to find them and then after a minute or so it appeared on the top level menu, far right.

can you please unplug the USB drive, plugin to PC and post the example playlist that works for you, here?

It certainly caused me to scratch my head when I took delivery.
