West Midlands meet?

Would anyone be up for a West Midlands meet of 7/900 series?

I was thinking a meet somewhere and then a drive to a pub for some food?

Sound good to anyone?

Potentially, especially if it's West (and ideally North) of Brum.

I was thinking of Cotswolds or Stratford maybe even caffeine and machine. But we could aim for the Shrewsbury area as I went that way to pick some wings up for Mark a couple of years ago and there were some brilliant roads and nice looking pubs along the way.

How about Iron Bridge?

A bit too far to try and organise a monthly meet haha.

I was thinking we could move the location around each month so everyone has an opportunity to do less traveling.

Shrewsbury would work - the A49's a good driving road and there's a brilliant farmshop and cafe at Battlefield 1409 just to the north of the town! (Says a self-appointed expert on cake and tea.)

Cotswolds possibly a bit too twee for my tastes but there are always, relatively, undisturbed parts.

Moving location is a decent idea, stops things becoming stale even if you move around a few locations on a regular basis

Iron Bridge itself does not have a huge amount of parking but just down the road is a better spot with catering also there https://www.ironbridge.org.uk/explor...IaAlxHEALw_wcB

Yes, agree as a different location each time adds to the interest.....

I was thinking exactly the same Dai when you mentioned Ironbridge - the museum would be ideal as it's easy to find with the brown signposts and has somewhere guaranteed to park for a meet-up.....

Shall we say Saturday 4th of September at the ironbridge museum?
