Technical issues with the new V40

With this car being quite new, have any owners experienced any teething issues with the V40?

I have a 13 plate D3 at 5000 miles and in the last week a loud high pitched noise has begun on the right hand wheel of the front axle. The car is going into the garage next week, but I suspect it is a faulty wheel bearing.

We have had (or have) no issues whatsoever. Well pleased :)

I am sure Volvo will fix whatever needs fixing on yours.

So far I have heard (on one car, at least) of:-

Since mid June,

Door rattles (so far 2 unsucessful attempts).
Brake booster warning messages (software upgrade)
Noisy steering rack (rack changed)
Water leaks (pump changed)

Mollusk.

Unfortunately we're now starting to fall out of love with our V40 T3 R Design Lux Nav. It's developed a fault where initially the Bluetooth phone connection fails, then the rear parking camera refuses to disengage and within a matter of days the car is completely dead. By completely dead I mean there is no power to it. You cannot even unlock it. We've had to call Volvo Assistance twice to jump start the car and it's now in its second spell at the dealers. The dealers have been great but even with assistance from Volvo UK can't seem to diagnose a fault. Volvo UK are now lending us another v40 until Christmas Eve to try to get the bottom of it!

Love the car but this is really spoiling the experience!

Any update on this issue, Sutton?
