Help! My Volvo v50 diesel was running fine then I stopped to put diesel in as I was low. I started the engine and immediately it started making strange noises :speechless-smiley-I pulled aside and it gradually got worse. The breakdown company called out and did a diagnostic test it showed second ingectir needed replacing ? So we were taken to a garage and they replaced it still wouldn’t start properly they then said it needed the fourth injector replacing. We had it brought home this point £350 lighter. A home mechanic has since changed the fuel filter and said there are bits of swarf in the system. Black smoke is coming out of the exhaust and it won’t run ??? Any ideas it’s high mileage 169,900
