Dump valve to a V70 t5 Xreg
 
can any one give me any help on How to fit a dump valve to a Volvo v70 T5 x reg petrol new shape car have been chipped and remap please help thanks ps is it worth doing as some tell me that it may give problems

"X" = MY2000/2001 = ME7 engine management = No dump valve.

Can we move this from the Register section?

A recirculation valve recirculates the charged air back into the air intake system which has been metered from the MAF.

A dump (Chav)valve dumps the charged air to atmosphere (as you have stated)thus confusing the metered air which in turn will make the engine run rich..

Agreed on the technical side but that does not show the recirculation valve not to be a dump valve, in a technical sense.
