S60 2005 D5 185 oil spec question

I have put Shell Helix 0W-30 Acea A5/B5 into my engine as this was recommended on euro car parts website. Now after researching more on this I found that volvo recommends ACEA A3 oil spec, unless I'm wrong as there seems to be a fair amount of conflicting info out there.

Is it safe to drive until the next oil change or should I drain it and replace with A3?

Thank you

The 185 engine should have a DPF and if so then A5/B5 is correct

All of Volvos VED5 engines use 0W-30 A5/B5 oil spec.

The 185 is euro 4 engine which uses A5/B5.
A is petrol spec, so you only need concern yourself with B spec for diesel (they both go together anyway so this is moot).
A5/B5 has nothing to do with dpf.
A3/B4 is high hths full saps, used in euro 3 D5, A5/B5 is low hths full saps used in euro 4 to try and help fuel economy at potential expense of protection. Tbh either are fine, just avoid C spec as despite being mid or low saps they can cause more trouble with these dpf's (long story...) despite being designed for dpf equipped cars...

No, the euro 3 uses A3/B4 which is a better protecting oil than A5/B5.
