Volvo 340DL propshaft removal
 
Anyone know how to remove the propshaft on a volvo 340DL CVT without having to adjust transmission/motor position?

It is designed to come off easily , lubricate the splines and the propshaft should slide back against the spring on the splined shaft , and come off the splines and drop down then with a rubber hammer tap the shaft back the other way . Of course your splines may be stiff after all this time ...
