Who is attending the Volvo600 event?
 

Hey all,

I know one or two people on here will be at the Volvo 600 event in York in a few weeks time...I was just wondering who else would be there and if so would you be able to share a picture of your car so that we can say hello if we see one another? Looks like it will be a 0900-1700 affair on 27/06 so no late night Netflix for me on the Saturday night

Yep,I shall be going[at least that's the plan] no pictures of my V70 though-I've hardly even seen it since last November when step daughter[who'll be coming with me]borrowed it! But it's a phase 1 on a V plate in silver[surprise,surprise]with laquer peeling on the o/s front wing and both o/s doors looking like a previous owner washed it with brillo pads! It's been like that since I bought it nearly 5yrs ago and it suits to keep it that way as I can park it anywhere without worrying over scratches/dents.

yep me and my good lady will be there in our red facelift c70 . but it will be hard to find folk as they will wander away from there cars im a member of several volvo groups so already know lots volvo owners

Yep. I'm going to be there. Computer skills limit me to point and poke, so a picture is a no,no. I pedal a 68 plate V90 R Design in bursting blue. Have a safe trip, looking forward to seeing faces old and new:regular_smile:

The plan was to take the 850R, but I've found a cracked fuel hose, various cracked and broken vacuum hoses plus I haven't finished the other stage 0 checks/repairs yet, let alone given it a proper clean. So I'm not sure it'll be ready in time - in which case we'll be in the S70 T5 which arguably is more distinctive being one of the last factory manual T5 S70s in Coral Red.

Red V70 2.5d, need to find time between now and then to give it a bit of a wash!
