Part leather white seats

Hi,

I am looking to buy a V60 as an upgrade from current S40, came across one but it has part leather seats with white sections. The white appears to have been cleaned or treated in some way that has had stained sections yellow. Has anyone come across this or know of being able to clean or restor back to original white? I couldn’t get any decent pictures of the staining as they didn’t come out very well.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks!

How old is the car?
Yellowing of lighter coloured materials (trim and plastic) is usually associated with UV exposure and may be covered by warranty if they haven't lasted very long.

Rex,
It’s a 2011 reg. It didn’t look like UV damageas as it is very inconsistent and patchy, which looked to be more like a unsuitable chemical cleaner had been used....

You can get leather dye or paint to restore it if it doesn't clean off.
There are cleaning and restoration kits on ebay etc.
