Electrical problems!

In the process of trying to get my reversing lights to work I now can't start her up, maybe I shorted a reverse wire to earth? Can't imagine that would fry the ECU, battery is full and I can hear a relay clicking like mad, it was odd yesterday the seat belt warning relay was getting faster and faster, not I don't have a fuel gauge working the temp gauge is being werd, I get aux power then when I try and start it cuts it all off, it's almost like somethings draining it? Very weird. Have a look at the video - I was only fiddling in the shifter area - and also when I turn the ignition on the temp gauge reads hot when it's not even been on. And now in 20 mins of having the ignition on the battery is completely dead.

So I didn't touch anywhere around the fuse/relay box I was only playing with old wires from the auto conversion, none of them are touching ground or shorting, I havnt changed as nyrhing since it was working....

Any ideas anyone?

What video? Two of the wires on the inhibitor switch will be your reverse light switch, the other two will be the starter realy circuit - they need linking together.

It also sounds as if your battery was near flat before you started so it needs charging anyway.
