Car's heart is in Sweeden
 

2nd time this has happened - got a photo this time!

Despite being on the A10 in North London, my Volvo SatNav seemed to think I was in Göteborg, Sweden!

Lasted for 1 minute or so before correcting.

I can't find Rectory Road anywhere on my map of Gothenburg!

GPS can produce errors, and can result in incorrect position display

I've seen it on my 2009 XC90, and it often coincides with fog or mist, especially at higher altitudes, and in valleys where less satellites are visible.

But as Dippo points out - the "Current position" is accurate, (as, oddly, was the Sensus map), it was just the river map of Södra Hamngatan on the dash map that was odd!:shocked:

Ive had that once, I assumed that was the factory !

Definitely not the factory! That's the middle of the city.. but you shouldn't be driving there, that's part of Södra Hamngatan is for buses and trams only.
