We have a list of these non franchise garages and mechanics and it is made up from recommendations from others who have used them. If you want to add a garage to the list then send it in.

Please note this is not for a garage or mechanic to advertise their services, it is only for owners to pass on a recommendation.

Non franchise Newcastle
 

Hi,
I checked the link which lists the non franchised Volvo mechanics.
Went to one of the garages for Tyne and Wear (both in Sunderland) and the garage was flattened for a new housing estate so guessing this list is a bit old!
Does anyone no of any good non franchised Volvo mechanics in the Newcastle area?

i can highly recommend, scots bank motor services, behind barclays bank, southwick green, sunderland, sr52pg, phone 0191 5497500.
a volvo trained technician, who has been in business for over 23 years, very reasonable labour charges,and first class workmanship.

i will second that...top class.

Will agreed, the list need checking, as a bit dated,,
I know the Colin @ SILVERMEAD MOTORS in Devon, shut up a good few years ago at least 5 !! ,, think he's now in Spain somewhere ??

I notice a good garage not on the list
We always take our cars to C.A.R.S in Drighlington on the A58 Whitehall road Leeds/Bradford border.
Top lads, full computerised, we've had our cars looked after at cars for a long time always an good job and a member of the good garage scheme, it seems a good idea:thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
