S90 setting seat position

I have a S90 Inscription , I have set the seat position with the memory button but recently every time I get into the car the seat moves forward . Obviously I`m doing something wrong but it didn`t do that when I bought it . I`m 6ft 5 and it is starting to get annoying having to squeeze into the car when the seat starts moving forward . anyone got any suggestions to where I`m going wrong?

Perhaps your key has somehow been programmed to the short position. Program the key correctly or cancel the facility. In the meantime before you sit down press your own memory button number.

Hi Mark, it’s all done through the on screen menu as follows.

Settings - system - driver profiles - edit profiles -

And make sure you tick Connect to Key

Good luck

PS if you fancy some bedtime reading I suggest downloading your car manual from the Volvo website. It’s a great help.

Hi Mark,
In future I would suggest you always post under the main heading General and you are bound to get more readers and more replies as a result.
Not many read the sub forums that are intended for articles I only spotted your post above by chance as I happened to be looking as it came up.
Bernard.
