Looking forward to seeing the 164 but don't bring her if the weather is bad, there will be plenty of chances for me to drool over the old girl at future meetings! |

At last the car is running well, starts and idles for the first time.
The car does run now like a Swedish Rolls Royce, very quite, i don't remember by Silver Shadow being this quiet. Hope to see you tomorrow Paul. |
Set off on Sunday with all the will in the world to get to the meet, but with the flooding in Rawtenstall a normal 5 minute drive became 30 minutes. Then the A56 dual carriage way out of the Rossendale valley looked more like a river, and has much as I have faith in the V90's awd tech, I felt I would have made more progress on a Jetski. So caution overcame bravado and I decided to return home to find road closures due to flooding in Rawtenstall.. Alternate route home 20 mile detour:angry_smile::angry_smile: hope to get down for the next meet.
