Sorry to hear your bad news, condolences to you and your family. Even if you know very little about the car a few decent photos will help to sell it - particularly showing the registration so that potential buyers can carry out a quick check of the cars MoT history on the DVLA website. The guys on here are brilliant and will give you help and advice if you meet them at least half way and add a few pics! Any other help you need get in touch.
Best wishes.

Click on the little paper clip icon to the right of the white smiley face in the top of the text box when you’re posting a reply. It will take you to a “choose file” option - click on that. Just make sure the images you select are not too large!

Mo condolences for you loss Miffy.

I don't know much about the 300 series cars, but this information may assist others in helping you with a value for the motor car:

https://cartaxcheck.co.uk/free-car-check/?vrm=UJR611Y

It appears from the records to be a genuine motor car in very good condition. It is a 1983 registration, and so will qualify as an historic vehicle (tax and MoT exempt) on 1 Apr 24. It has had the same owner since 2011 and sonce then the annual mileage has been very low (it is only 61,000 miles now). The MoT record is very good indeed.

If this was a 200 series motor car I'd say it would be worth £5,000 - maybe even £6,000. I'm not sure where 300 series motor car prices are in comparison.

Good fortune with the sale.

Alan

thanks for the help Alan. I think the 2011 v5c change, was just to update to the new style v5c. im sure he got the car in the 90s. the log book is in the car, so cant confirm the correct date at the moment.

That is all useful information regarding the motor car's value - people like provenance.

I'm not a 300 series chap (I only know about Amazons and 200 series amongst Volvos), so I might well be a long way off with that figure I mentioned. I'm sure someone from the 300 section will be along soon enough to help though.

Good fortune,
