Wanted: Bosch 028 217 107 (MAF / Pre-ME7 T-5)

As above folks,

I'm in need of a good, used OEM Bosch mass air flow meter to suit a 1995 850 2.3 T-5 (Pre-ME7) with the Bosch part number 028 217 107.

I believe these may have been fitted to a few models, which exactly seems open to debate... but likely to be in the S, V and C70 models too, possibly others including, oddly... some Renaults.

VOLVO 850 Estate (855) (Year of Construction 05.1992 - 10.1997)
VOLVO V70 I (LV, 875, 876) (Year of Construction 12.1995 - 12.2000)
VOLVO C70 I Coupe (872) (Year of Construction 03.1997 - 10.2002)
VOLVO S70 (LS, 874) (Year of Construction 12.1996 - 12.2000)
VOLVO C70 I Convertible (873) (Year of Construction 03.1998 - 10.2005)
VOLVO 850 Saloon (854) (Year of Construction 07.1991 - 10.1997)
VOLVO XC70 I Cross Country (P2, 295) (Year of Construction 10.1997 - 10.2007)

Cheers

Hi TurboDave,

Part number is 0280217107 (you were missing one 0)

I have a spare, but want to keep it! Sorry.

Steve

Cheers.

Looks like I've sourced one, so fingers crossed it solves the issue.

Did you manage to source a new one or used? I'm finding the same issue. Looks like the Bosch OEM MAF is discontinued :(

I picked up a good, used Bosch one from a very nice chap in the north of Scotland... and it has improved matters, but not solved them completely.

Dammit.
