340 oil seepage

Hi everyone, my friends low mileage 340 1.4 has a little oil seeping from the front crankshaft pulley, he thinks it's the seal. Whats is the size, and where can he get one from?

My higher mileage 340 is running quite well.

Many thanks.

Thank you, pefek!

I'm sure my friend will be pleased.

He's an ex Mercedes mechanic, 30 years there. When he retired he bought a Mercedes, gave it to his son, preferred the 340!

300 series are very addictive, I'm on my third 360 but there are people on here who have had a lot more than me.

I've had three also, still got two, 1989 340GL, and a 1989 GLE, GLE not been on the road for around 10 years.

That's very kind, I guess that you may have seen some of his videos. I find them quite addictive. He's just bought another car, that looks like it needs a fair bit of work.

Perhaps you would contact him, being a third party is always difficult. It would be interesting to see him do a road test on a 360

I think he had a large Volvo years ago.

I have seen a couple of videos including his one on the Volvo Amazon.

I need to watch more really as he seems a down to earth guy.

I will see if I can contact him.
