Does anyone have information of who I can approach to buy the front silencer (between catalytic converter and end box)? I have looked at PFS, but they don't seem to offer this although Jamie has quoted to offer the catalytic converter. I have a new end box, but now need the rest to get my local garage to fit it all. OK I am replying to my own thread to say that I have located a Catalytic Converter and mid silencer with pipe to end box and all fixings from 'buycarspares2'. I await delivery and will post satisfaction report in due course. Derek Vivian

Well guys, I wished I had not started this, but not only did 'buycarsspares' send the wrong catalytic converter which didn't have the correct end fitting to connect to the middle silencer, but when the garage mechanic tried to remove the Lamda oxygen sensors they broke! After 20 years i suppose that could have been expected. However the garage ordered two (for OBD-11) the wrong ones were send so I am still waiting for my car after a week! Be warned! Check and double check before you buy!!

I now have my car back and all is well so nothing more to worry about until the next problem!

Not only did I have problems getting the correct Catalytic Converter for my V90 but the one supplied by buycarspares2 went faulty after 2 months use. Although they arranged a replacement from BM Catalysts they refuse refund my cost of £72 to have it changed over by my local garage. So I am removing buycarspares2 from my favourites list and will no longer buy from them.
