Volvo V40 Service lights galore !
 

Hi, I have owned my v40 for about 6 months now and only last week whilst driving I had some service lights pop up - dstc service,pedestrian airbag service, airbag service, brake service and my indicators went dead..... Upon trying to restart the car it wouldn't start stating brake system failure guard protect mode so the car would not start for 20 minutes.... My local mechanic plugged the car into his diagnosis and it showed 30 odd faults total !!!!! he did check the battery with a volt meter and said it seemed ok but could it still be the battery?
