140 240 vented brakes
 

Hi

Sorry I am sure this must have been covered previously but can’t find a straight answer. Perhaps there isn’t one...

Seems a bit of “fog” when I have read up whether I can convert a vented disc and caliper for my 144 with solid discs.

Any tech advice whether I need
A 164 caliper and hub? and 164 vdisc
An early 240 caliper and 164 vdisc.

Thanks to anyone clearing the fog!

I converted mine using 164 hubs, disks and calipers. The studs are longer in the 164 hub as the disks are thicker where the studs pass through
