2014 XC70 detachable Tow bar and electrics
 

Just about to change to a V90 so I'm selling a tow bar off my 2014 XC70. Genuine Volvo item in excellent condition complete with two keys, fixing bolts etc.
Volvo 13pin electric socket cabling and module also included - all plug and play.
Buyer to collect from Wetherby West Yorkshire.

Do you happen to know if it is a different towbar for the V70? I'm guessing it might be a different height.

Ok thanks. I've put a post in the main forum to ask.

I'm sure there must be a difference in height or angle but if not then I'll definitely take it assuming it's all in really good condition, no damage, serious rust etc. Do you have a photo?

Presumably it would just need the software coding by the dealer once installed.

The bar is in excellent condition with little or no rust. Ive tried posting a couple of pics but not having any joy.

I haven't received a private message but I do seem to struggle with them sometimes.

You'll see on the main forum that Terry has kindly shared that the XC bar will fit the V, and he has done this. But there is a difference in the bar design and height.

I'm just deliberating whether I would rather hold out for the correct V version.

While I am hesitating, if anyone else comes along who wants it, please go ahead and don't let me hold up a quick sale.
