Door lock motors
 

Is there a guide on removing the font and rear locking motors on my V70?
I have just taken the door card off and it looks a pig of a job 🙄😂

The symptoms of the door pin not moving is like mine.
I presume the spring has dropped out. Presumably, it is in the bottom of the door 🙄🤔
I just need to source a new motor 👍

The motors can be cleaned and are then as good as new. Wash off any contamination with white spirit and dry thoroughly. Remove brush holder / end plate. Clean commutator with VERY fine wet or dry (2000 grit ) reassemble and all should be good.

Never mind, I will keep the originals as spares for the other two doors 😁😁

Hi, the eBay link for the actuator motors on this thread states that they do not ship to the uk !! Any more info for them or another website. Got it stripped down just need the motors.
