I must admit I hate signs like this airbag one , my wife’s Lexus did the same thing .. it told you it was on (working) I only need a sign to tell me it’s not working. You don’t have a sign on the dash saying your ABS is working.

You probably mean this?

If so- the answer is no.

Bob McFerrin knows the answer.

it is obviously a legal requirement... what happens if you have your air bag turned off and a passenger gets killed ? i assume it is for their benefit rather than yours ....
don't worry you will soon get a warning if it isn't working !

I wouldn’t say it’s a legal requirement, this car and the Lexus are the only 2 cars that the sign saying the air bag works stays on .

It is a warning sign to warn parents or carers putting a baby seat in the front seat that the airbag is on, it has to be turned off if a baby seat is in the front seat. So it is a logical warning sign.
