Works for me
I don't need a mortgage due to spending my cash on a car and I wouldn't spend £40K+ on one anyway. At the end of the 2 years I can have another new car and it all costs no more than a second hand one overall. Best bit for me though is not having the sales guy telling me it's the wrong colour or last years model at trade in time

Anyway the T5 looks great can't wait to pick mine up in 6 weeks time

I do 3+36, I would never have a lease over 4 yrs, an out of warranty car, MOT, company pays for it anyhow.

Not an XC60 though.

no but a V40 is often less than £200 a month

Agreed no xc60 will cost you 250pm by long shot - well not without a very big deposit which when it comes to renewal time you will have to find all over again.

This seems so unfair. Simon has shown us his car and the thread spends about 2 pages on the merits of pcp or cash etc. I'm to blame too. Lets start a new thread on that subject.

To be honest it sounds as though you are paying out for a mortgage but get a car rather than a house. I know where I would put my money.

Fantastic looking XC60! Think I might prefer yours to my V90 R-Design in terms of looks!

Crocker. Only 3 more sleeps to go then the fun begins. Hope you managed to fit in some serious reading on the Manuals during your USA trip?

Crockers Sep 22nd, 2018 00:57

Yes. Have the dealer pick me up at 8 am on Monday. What's a manual :D

i have always been put off leasing as I have so many options added, inflating the monthly cost. Guess if I am ever tempted to buy a Japanese car or the like with most options standard that may be something I would consider.
