18" wheels on S40. How they are??

Hello everyone. I'm thinking about to install 18" wheel on my S40 2012 DRIVe.

The thing is that most of 18" wheels are 8" in width and got offset not more than 45mm while stock 17" wheels are 7" in width and 50-52mm in offset. So this means if I swap them, new wheels will be extended outside for 20mm. Also I'm planning to put lowering springs to make it lower for 30mm.

Who has got experience with 18" 8" wheels and knows how they look like? Just got worries it could be too wide.
Thank you!
