I've changed several of these, just bought them from PFV online. Go for the more expensive heavy duty Meyle ones though, the cheaper ones are not great quality and won't last nearly as long. I reckon the Meyle H/D ones are at least as good as original OEM quality.
Not a difficult job if you have a decent set of tools, you'll need to set up the tracking again afterwards though, I bought a Gunson TrackRite and did it myself, works very well. Cheers  |
Changed hundreds of lower arms. NEVER had to re-track afterwards. You're only releasing the wishbone pivot fixings and balljoint, not the strut or altering the track rod ends.... If youre doing drivers side youll need to jack up the engine to access the bolt heads. Passenger ones are easier to access.
ive seen 2 types of wishbones on C70s, one moreso that others. the 4 bolt version is most likely to be the version you need, 2 bolt ive only ever seen on 2 pre me7 cars. 2 bolt left 8628495 2 bolt right 8628496 4 bolt left 8628499 4 bolt right 8628500 If you order from FRF Swansea youll get 15% discount on RRP, and they ship 99% of items All the best Dunc |
