XC40 80,000 orders last month!
 

No chance to get your hands on a new XC40 in 2018 now, however Production to be increased....in 2019!!! Volvo have amassed another 80,000 orders since last month - making it the fastest selling new car on sale!

Just to put that into perspective those 80,000 orders are equal to 15% of Volvo's 2017 total production!

Think you’ve read it wrong it’s a total order book of 80k since it went on sale.

I think Volvo might be in a real pickle with production. I read last week that they have already started a $500M expansion to the new (not yet built) Volvo cars USA plant, which originally was scheduled to produce 100,000 units per year and they have staffing issues with the number of vacancies around 1,000 which they needed to fill to get the initial production up and running by September 2018.

I saw a new XC40 in the show room today - Momentum T3 FWD Manual, base model no options - looked fab!
