Volvo OBD connectors (nerdy post)
Hi,
For the past 2 weeks I've been attempting track down some rectangular connectors for the OBD post. The closest ones I can find are made by JAE Connector Company Part no. MX5-B-SG-C2-5000. After ordering these connectors although they do fit and lock in to the connector, it's a loose fit, and the OBD pins don't fit into this connector. Does anyone know what the connectors are that are used in the OBD connector. images below. https://i.imgur.com/FtPADgd.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/U4jagQW.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/S4KyNY7.jpg?1 Any help would be appreiciated. You're looking for OBD data link terminals. You can buy a complete replacement OBD connector that comes with all the pins for a couple of pounds online.

Plus the OBD connectors available online would require me to butcher the cubby hole under the armrest. |
For some reason I can't find you on my phone Tireth or on whatsapp.
Send me a message, I've got an OBD connector that's been cut out of a car with wiring still attached, you can take the bits you need off it. |
With a little bit of trimming, I've managed to get these contact terminals to work, https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/crimp-contacts/7122056/ . They lock in with both of the locks, the OBD pin also slides in albeit at a slight angle.
