Driver Display - New update or a bug?
1 Attachment(s)
Last week my Volvo dealer had re-updated the software (wing mirror issue - see my previous post). Now, when I turn the ignition On, see the attached picture, driver Dashboard list down all safety features with green dot for couple of seconds, for example, City Safety, Pilot Assist, Park Assist, Lane Keeping Aid, Road Sign, Cross Traffic, BLIS and rear Collision Warning etc before it shows SatNav (my preferred Setting).
Didn't see it before, will raise this with the dealer as car going back to get the wing mirror issue resolved with new parts. I'm curious to find if its only me or do other drivers see this in their driver display. |
Mine is a MY18 XC60 and I've had the safety systems check on startup since I got it.. so it's definitely not a bug..

We have our XC90 since june last year, it displays the list, no updates since new.
I believe it came with a Sensus update in may 2017. |
Mine is a 2018 and has showed that since new.
Are you really taking a photo at 40mph? |

Mine is MY18 means April 17 but had the software update on first service this April/May. |
The checklist function was introduced around Apr/May 2017 then later withdrawn because of an unspecified problem.
It was re-introduced around Nov 2017 and is now applied as standard when a car's software is updated. So some car's will have it (including those that got it at the factory) and some won't. Eventually all cars will have it. |
I have just had my second anual service and the latest software update and now have the Intellisafe checklist in the driver display, it came out just after my last software update, so just missed getting it last time, it is now a standard feature.
