A question for rally drivers

I have been hunting for an app or clock which shows split times sequentially.
ie. start first phase, for example 1.5 min's. one button stops this phase, leaves it visible and starts next phase, 1.5 min's press button again, stops and leaves that time visible and starts next phase etc. so that we end up with two or three times showing on clock
etc etc. so that the clock ends up showing the time for each phase at the touch of one button.
The reason for this would be when there is a need to complete the second phase at the same time as the first
Sounds complected but would eliminate the need for two or more time pieces.

What regs do you run under? i'd be surprised if modern apps would be allowed, we're only permitted Halda/Brantz units and rely of speed tables, twin stop watches and the std odometer. You may find it better to retrain your co-driver to run twin stop watches and note times on paper/log book. This way also ensures you have one less thing to faff with and certainly one less item to fail when you least need it.

Note: I'm sure you've heard of Philip Young, he wrote a superb rally book years ago on how to build a successful rally car. Not only is the book hilarious, Phillip goes in to much detail as to why one should leave hi-tech at home on historic rallies; RIP Phillip...you brought great humour and even greater life experience to us all

Unfortunately that doesn't apply here. We can't beat them so we have to join them. My navigator (wife) is all fingers and thumbs with stop watches. :)

Hi,
I used a GaugePilot on this years Monte Carlo Historique in my Amazon 122s!
Absolutely outstanding and looks just like a period unit - worth a look!

A nice Navigator knee smasher panel there. Not one I'd like to test.

Hi,
Interesting assumption - but wrong!
Unless you know the construction of the panel it is best not to jump to conclusions.

Andy.

Nicer just to tell us about how its made. The original floppy parcel shelf was made like that to protect your shins in the event of an accident, your arrangement does look rather more substantial.
