Looking for my Parent's 145S and this one has a story

Hello all, I'm on a mission and I need some help. I'm a Seattle native looking for my parent's old 145S and my Mom/Dad don't seem to have enough information, thus I turn to the forums for help.

Quick history: The 145S was Forest Green, imported from Canada with plaque stating Canada. It was purchased around 1976 in Burien, WA, then sold in the mid-80's in Seattle. At the tender age of 3, I filled the gas tank with water, thinking I was helping my Dad. After a very expensive repair bill, my brothers and I would sit in the back and watch our golden retriever chase us down the street. A few years later, after my parents divorce, my Mom and two brothers were living in the back of the 145S in a campground in Spokane. My Mom eventually sold the car shortly thereafter and bought a Oldsmobile Toronado. I mean, what the hell was she thinking.

Since then, I've always wondered wondered what happened to the 145S and since all car communities I've been a part of over the years seems to be pretty tight, I thought I'd start here. If there are any 145S owners in the Seattle area where this story makes sense, please reach out to me, as this car has great significance to me. With so many great and not-so-great memories, I'd like to find the car. Thank you

That is indeed some story, 'seavolvo'. If only cars could talk, eh?!

While I wish you every success in your search, unless your parent's car 'crossed the pond', it's unlikely that anyone on here will be able to help you - certainly not without the registration and / or VIN. But you never know; stranger things have happened.

The 145 is now a very rare beast in the UK and most are in preservation. It's possible that someone might be able to help you, but I wouldn't build my hopes up too high if I were you.

Kind regards, John.
