Hi All,
I'm having real problems shifting my D5 and, under advice, have brought her along here to see if a) anyone's interested, or b) can suggest why I might be struggling!

Here's the info;

NEW PIRELLI FRONT TYRES JUST FITTED, TOYO PROXES ON REAR ONLY 500 MILES OLD
MOT'D TILL NOVEMBER

EXCELLENT CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT WITH NO NOTABLE MARKS, SCRATCHES OR DENTS.*

DRIVES FAULTLESSLY AND NEEDS FOR NOTHING

ELECTRIC TILT AND SLIDE GLASS SUNROOF
UPGRADED PREMIUM SURROUND-SOUND SYSTEM (VERY GOOD)
CITY-SAFE BRAKING
eDRIVE ECO MODE
START/STOP

TRACTION CONTROL
17" ALLOYS
BLUETOOTH PHONE PREP AND MUSIC STREAMING
USB CONNECTION
PART LEATHER SPORTS SEATS
LEATHER GEAR KNOB AND R-DESIGN STEERING WHEEL
DUAL ZONE CLIMATE CONTROL
DETACHABLE TOWBAR (ONLY USED ONCE)
TWIN EXHAUST
ELECTRONIC HANDBRAKE
REMOTE BOOT RELEASE
SPLIT/FOLDING REAR SEATS
WHIPS/SIPS/ALL THE VOLVO SAFETY STUFF

I'm selling it at £6500 which is cheap (find one cheaper!) purely because I already have a new steed and don't want it hanging around unused. A friend has even suggested that the low price might be putting people off! I don't know, I just know I've had surprisingly little interest in a car I thought would go quickly. It could probably do with a minor service (it's 8k miles away from a full) but is VERY tidy. Any interest or help very welcome.

Thank you.
Stewart

The main problem I see is that your photos are terrible and don't back up your words about how nice the car is.

Can you be more specific? 'terrible' is pretty strong so I'm guessing you can expand on that?
Apart from them downloading on their side!....

If you're expecting someone to part with £6500, there aren't enough pics for a start.
You need maybe 20+ from every angle inside and out to effectively give a virtual tour of the car. Under bonnet and in boot too.
Get the car into some open space too so it is the only thing in the picture.
Green grass would contrast nicely or at the very least, an empty car park.

Here's the rest of what I currently have. I take your point about the background though.

Yes, some of the pictures look more like a Google Street View image rather than a car ad.

The photos show the car has good potential so improve them, orientate them correctly and I'm sure it will sell.

I saw this on AT a while back! As said I think some better pictures in a different location would help.

From seeing the mileage in the picture, it's not high and I'd say that's about the right price for it to sell! We buy any car will offer £5200 with that mileage and their usually very different from private/trader sales!

PS. Might be worth putting the mileage in the post above.

Good spot! I thought it was!
Mileage is 116k.
I'm going to sort some improved pics as soon as I can.
Yes the price should be good for it to go. Still get silly enquiries but I'm not dropping it further. As I said before, I'd challenge anyone to find one cheaper!

Might be worth looking at some used car ads on AutoTrader (from garages) and checking out their writing style and photography styles to help the sale.

Also manuals aren't as popular as autos anymore
