Garage Clearance, some rare parts.
Ok as SWMBO is in my ear about wanting a new kitchen, and as that cant happen until i take down my garage and rebuild it whilst extending out back to create the new kitchen, i need to empty my garage of various treasures and not continue with my planned 240 Turbo Project.
So below is parts that were going to go in the 240Turbo Project plus other bits that i’ve kept after breaking cars knowing i’ll have a use for them one day. But if they go they go and i don’t have to move them about or find a place to store them whilst i loose my garage space. But if they don’t i’ll just keep em for that day i do have a use. All prices are collected from near Wellingborough, Shipping can be arranged at buyers cost or i can bring to BKV on Sunday for the parts that will fit in my 740 saloon. 63K mile FK bottom end, have fitted a new rear main seal. Front seals are untouched as originally engine was going in a 940 turbo, then id planned to change the front seals whilst putting in an aux shaft to run a block mount dizzy. http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0210.jpg http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0211.jpg £100 for the bottom end, please note alternator ,aircon compressor, exhaust manifold not included http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0209.jpg Currently it has bolted to it a freshly skimmed 531 head with a IPD Turbo CAM installed and shimmed up. The 531 has also had ports drilled and tapped in the intake passages so that LPG can be used. If you’re not going to use LPG then these can just be blanked off. £250 for the head and Cam £325 for the bottom end and head/cam bolted together as it stands with the new Volvo headgasket & new cambelt. http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0215.jpg 940 Turbo intake Manifold complete with injectors £15 940 Turbo starter Motor £15 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0230.jpg 15G conical Flange turbo, came of a 1994 850Turbo, 120k full service, drove this car for 3,000miles before i broke it ran fine. £75 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0214.jpg Late Style intercoolers with centre inlet and Exits £10 each 940 Efan £25 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0217.jpg 940 Dual Mass flywheel and 10,000mileold clutch £50 LH2.4 Dogdish Flywheel with Diesel Clutch kit done 15,000 miles £150 LH2.4 dogdish flywheel no clutch £50 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0212.jpg M90 Gearbox with shifter and linkages, no Propshaft, done over 200k but had oil changed every 20k by previous owner who travelled extenstively in Europe £50 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0213.jpg M90 Gearbox with shifter and linkages, no propshagt, came on a 940 sport i broke, had done 180k miles and drove 250 miles back from Scotland fine. £50 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0216.jpg 940 Stock Downpipes, perfect for cutting and shutting to make a 240turbo downpipe £15 http://www.chesh.co.uk/volvoparts2014/dsc_0224.jpg 940 Turbo 3 inch Downpipe, has concial flange then welded to 2 90degree jetex bends. If you look on your 940 Sport It should already have one, I think all Turbo cars did have them, most NA cars didnt. Worth checking to see if yours doesnt already have one. Below is a pic of an IPD one fitted to show you where to look, i think most American 700's and 900's didnt have them hence IPD making there own version to sell. http://www.ipdusa.com/uploads/images...lsize_5495.jpg You'd be suprised how much the chassis can flex, as to fit them you have to ensure the car is on its wheels, as having it jacked up on one side will mean the chassis flexes and the bolt holes go out of alignment. |
