XC90 Dog Guard Divider + Rubber Boot Liner

Hello

I am about to become the proud owner of a young springer spaniel so I desperately need a dog guard (ideally the sort that divides the luggage space too) and I need a rubber boot liner for those muddy paws!

Anything considered but sensible prices please :animal-smiley-037:

Thanks for looking!!

From personal experience get a cage not a dog guard that way you can get more use out of the cage and it will also protect the interior of your car....

My Springer cross managed to eat a sizable chunk of the boot of my landrover including the locking mechanism and the heated rear screen the door handle and the rear headrest.....

He is now no longer my problem as we had to "pass him on"....!!!

Oh dear

Thanks for that! I am a bit nervous now! Good idea - I will give that some thought.

Just measure it and work out what the biggest size you can fit in is, you can use the crate in the house as well like a kennel, it gives them their own territory. Also if they are being naughty you can put them in it at night and it stops them eating the kitchen as well...

I learnt the hard way and have now found all of this out...!!!

Go straight to puppy training classes, we left it to late. The main thing is to wear the little bugger out walk him till his legs buckle then walk him again.

Thanks

I will I think. He is 2 years old and very well trained - he is being rehomed due to 'personal problems' so I may find that in reality he is a total nightmare!!

A crate would be very useful for camping trips too I suppose?

Totally, if we were going out for a meal you can just shut him in that in the awning or whatever you have and know that he will not slowly cook to death...!

Still looking

We are still thinking about the crate but hubby is much more keen on dog guard and boot tray so any offers would be great
