hi,
ime totaly new to volvos, and to cars with aircon

recently bought a s60 t5,,2001, when i bought put the air con and all appeared fine, the next day again it seemed to work ok,, but noticed that what was blowing nice cold air soon changed to luke warm,,, would the system need regassing,, or could it be other problems?

stunning prices, cant get mine charged for less than £55 in my area.

You must remember to get the system degassed. This should take a decent air con person about an hour with the car left on the machine and then refill with oil and gas.

If they dont degass properly it will damage the system due to the rubbsih in the system needs removing.

Yead Adam your right...Kam is quite good ..he mentioned removing ther old stuff first..i thought mines needed regassing but he checked the system and told me its still in excellent condition...the R143a refridgerant in the S60 contains the oil in itself ...

The key is the time the car is being degassed. Needs to be more than 45mins or they say it wont properly have drained. Some people stick it on for ten minutes which is pointless.

i should have said.... £55 to vac for 35 mins and a charge.
i paid for a full hour vac and charge for £70.
