Mechanic in the south west

Hello everybody

New to the forum, hoping someone on here could recommend a trusted mechanic in the south west area to complete some work on my R.
I have a ported and flowed head to put on, along with a Aquamist HFS3 kit, its beyond my comfort zone to take on alone and I won't use dealers or 'specialists'.
Been stung too many times with those already.
Any help or advice be really appreciated.
Many thanks

Kings Motor Services, Westbury.

Not too good on my west country geography but it might be worth looking at Kings Motor Services in Westbury who are going through the process of a change of ownership.

The original owner was a customer of mine and did have a modified Volvo of his own... having bought some components from me.

The new owner, Tony McMillan, was until recently a senior manager at MRG in Chippenham who, prior to a change of ownership were, unusually, a go-to Volvo dealer for many discerning owners of modified cars.

Around Cirencester I could recommend Alan Moreton in Perrots Brook or Neil Garner on Kemble Airfield
