C70 diesel fuel filter change

Appreciate some help please
My car is a 2011 and as far as I know the diesel fuel filter has never been changed. It looks an easy enough job to physically change the filter, but does the fuel line need to be bled afterwards?
I cant find any reference to it, or see where the bleed valve is

Many thanks

Every diesel needs some form of bleeding following a filter change but with no details of the engine to which you're referring there's not much more that can be said.

So sorry - stupid of me not giving details
Its a Volvo C70 auto with a 1984cc D4 engine

Thank you

If it's the D5204 5 cylinder engine, that will have an in-tank pump so 3-4 15 second cycles of the ignition should be enough to bleed through the fuel system.

No it is the D4 with 5 cylinders. 1984cc. - do you think that can also bleed the fuel system in a similar way?

The D5204 is the 5 cylinder badged D4 so bleeds as per above.
D Diesel
5 5 Cylinder
20 2 litre
4 4 valves per cylinder
