whigh miagehats high milage
 
a xLooking at a xc90 with full history on a 14 plate wth one owner . is this considered high mies for a D5c90 with full history but with 130,000mi

My 2006 is on 220k so they do last if maintained properly.

Average of 11,000 miles per annum so normal. If it has been well maintained it will easily do another 130,000 miles

Agree. But check if gearbox oil has been changed - if not then may have some issues done the line so make sure you have some budget for that but otherwise just usual wear and tear which is minimal on these possibly last of the well built Volvos

True. Cam belt replacement would also be another bonus. If it has already been done with proof, then that'll save the guts of £400 at a garage.

Always worth a jump underneath and check the prop shaft doesn’t spin. Although this is a much later car it should be fine but still worth a check. Also check to see if the handbrake works. Most don’t because numpties don’t know how to service them correctly. I find most garages fail it for mot, get asked to fix it and then attempt to fix it, give up and pass it anyhow.
