V40 door mirror glass removal
 

I recently noticed my electric folding driver's door mirror was juddering whilst folding in, not the usual smooth operation. I tried to dismantle it but after removing the outer car colored molding I could not figure out how to remove the glass.

Once the glass is removed I hope I can then remove most of the plastic assembly held in place by two long screws and eventually gain access to the motor and gears to see what is causing the juddering movement.

Please could someone advise on how to remove the glass?
