Aftermarket bluetooth

I'm after some advice.
Currently my s40 volvo 2006 has no bluetooth and I want to change that so I can make and receive calls handsfree and also stream music from my phone.
I have seen the grom mst4 kits but know nothing about them.
Can anyone shed any knowledge on what are my options on what if anything can be fitted

With thanks

For easy and affordable, search Amazon for Bluetooth aux car adaptor, if you have an aux input in your armrest... if not, swap the aux for FM... you’ll pair to the adaptor and tune your radio to an FM frequency to listen to it.

Grom, Parrot & BluePower solutions are all somewhat more elegant, but with price tags to match, less than straightforward installs and they each have their own limitations and compromises...

2006 model most likely wont have aux anywhere (same as mine ;( ) so your only option is pricey aftermarket unit OR 15euro worth FM transmitter.
I went for the latter over a year ago and I am really happy with it. I listen to music from SD card (sound quality is really good, defo better than expected) and phone pairs to it via BT and automatically mute the music etc. Honestly - cant go better for that money.
I used this one - the dispaly is an added bonus as allows you to skip between music folders etc.
If you dont like it - you can always gather remaining 485Euro and get GROM unit ;)

If you have the High Performace Audio (will say as much when you turn it on) then you should have a 3.5mm jack plug, so will be able to connect something in. The jack plug is behind the heater control panel (http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthr...h-AUX-What-now)

If you want a permanently wired BT solution then your best "value" bet is probably a Parrot MKi9200 and appropriate wiring adaptors - probably about £250 to £300 professionally fitted.

Unlikely to be an aux input on a 2006 model unfortunately.
