It might be a bit further than you were thinking, but I am in Bishops Stortford if you cant get anyone closer.

Bishops stortford is fine. Just fed up of looking at the warning triangle.

Alarm one and srs need servicing

The alarm message will remain each start up until you fix the alarm. Vida won't clear this permanently on its own.

There's a forum member in Barking who's helped me twice with Vida - saw him just 2 weeks ago. I'll email him and see if he's still happy for his contact details to be made available.

Is there a common issue with them ?

Any alarm from around 8 years old onwards are either knackered or on borrowed time.

I made a repair video here which has over a quarter of a million views so yes, it's most definitely a common issue.

There’s hundreds of threads on the alarm, but very briefly the internal backup battery starts leaking acid and fries/dissolves the internal circuit board. Most people just put up with the warning message as it’s only on for a few seconds.
