V60 D4 r design pro Parking climate
 

i recently purchased a V60 D4 R design pro demo from a Volvo dealership
I researched the car on the internet before purchase and spec showed on call which i downloaded Ok
my problem is opening and locking doors etc work fine but cannot get parking climate to work Start/Stop or home pre start
it shows the control and timer to set in the on call app but no success

What does it say when it fails to start the things you are asking?

As I've already mentioned - as the car is manual gearbox then it isn't possible to remote start it.

As you don't have an auxiliary heater on the vehicle then you won't have the ability to pre-heat the vehicle.

If you've been led to believe that this would work you really need to take it up with your supplying dealer....

Regarding Pre-conditioning (Note * next to "The parking Heater" which shows its an optional/extra item)

If its a manual - there is no way you can remote start it, it cant dip the clutch or put itself in neutral. We have a very rare manual Range Rover and its the same, if it was an automatic, we could start it through the Land Rover app.

I would have thought the parking climate should still work though, it will not heat the car, but on a hot day it should run the fan to cool the interior, mine does and I dont have an auxiliary heater.

Its an automatic though, so it can self defrost if I start the engine and have the heated screen, seats, wheel etc. Ticked to fire up under 10 degrees in Sensus.

Thanks for all help will take it up with Volvo Dealer who advise about Aux heater pre heat
