Advice on selling non starter C30

Hi, I am looking for some advice please. Unfortunately the timing belt has gone on my C30 R-DESIGN LUX D2 (year 2013). I am now looking to get a newer volvo but I hate the thought of scrapping the C30.
How do I go about selling the car as a whole for repair or parts? Apart from the timing belt everything else is in good working order. It comes with what you would expect from the R-DESIGN LUX D2 (sat nav, leather seats etc).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are choosing to break the car yourself, your best bet might be to get onto the Facebook volvo group forums and any forum related to your car and advertise as breaking there. Make sure you have prices in mind or your post will most likely be rejected.

The above if you want to sell the car as a whole, but you will need a price in mind and photos.

If you dont want to deal with the lot above, I would just scrap it as the above will consume a lot of your time.

I find ebay useful as well but its more of a fiddle really, Facebook seems to be the best place at the moment.

You might as well create a sell post in this forums as well for the car with some prices etc

Unless your mind is made up about getting a replacement volvo, perhaps a used engine from e-bay or a reputable breakers ?

Around £800.00 + fitting ?

yes cars have to be running and driving to have a crash there are usually lots of engines and engine parts as most cars are written of because of the cost of repairs to bodywork
