"Frozen" Door Lock - Drivers Side
 

V70 D5 2008 ...Tried to use blade key in lock ( Remote's all OK) ..... just in case !!! ... frozen solid and key can't/won't move at all, left or right ... nervous of applying too much pressure in case blade key breaks ... probably from lack of use / lack of lubrication .. not ice!!... any ideas how to release ??

If not, any ideas as to replacement cost of new lock etc ?

Spray some silicone grease into the lock. Let it sit for a while and then try the key by wiggling it very GENTLY from side to side. Do not force it! Keep spraying grease into the lock and trying the key and with luck it will free itself.
